The past tense, on the other hand, refers to actions that have already occurred in the past. Finally, the future tense refers to actions that will occur at some point in the future. Additionally, there are perfect tenses, which are formed by using the auxiliary verb “have” in combination with the past participle of the main verb. These tenses describe actions that started in the past but continue up to the present or were completed before another action in the past. Examples include present perfect (“I have finished my homework”), past perfect (“She had already eaten breakfast before I arrived”), and future perfect (“We will have completed the project by Friday”).
