The future indefinite tense is like a magical window into the world of what’s to come. It helps us talk about things that will happen in the future but without giving a specific time. This makes it a super useful part of language because it lets us share our plans, hopes, and dreams with others.
Think of it like this: you’re using the future indefinite tense when you say, “I will read a book” or “She might visit the park.” These sentences tell us about actions that will happen someday, but we don’t know exactly when. It’s like looking forward to a surprise adventure!
This special tense is important because it lets us imagine and plan for what’s ahead. It’s not just about saying what will definitely happen, but also about exploring all the exciting possibilities that the future holds. So, when you use the future indefinite tense, you’re not just talking about tomorrow or the day after. You’re talking about all the amazing things that could be waiting for you on the horizon.
When we have to show the actions that going to happen in the future, we use Future Indefinite Tense. It cannot be mixed with Present Indefinite Tense, because in Present indefinite tense, we discuss those actions that occur in Present.
یہ ٹینس ایک ایسا ایکشن ظاہر کرتا ہے جس میں کسی کام کا کرنا ، ہونا ، یا سہنا آنےوالے زمانےمیں پایا جاتا ہے فعل مستقبل مطلق کہلاتا ہے ۔
اردو فقرہ کے آخر میں گا ،گے،گی وغیرہ آتا ہے ۔
This tense use First Form of Verb. Helping verbs used in this tense are Shall and will. Shall and Will are used in all type of scentences.
When we have subjects I and We, Shall is used as helping verb.
Examples given below will clear it.
- We shall play match in London.
- ہم لندن میں میچ کھیلیں گے۔
But when we have He, She, It and they, we use will as helping verb.
· Kate will play football.
- کیٹ فٹبال کھیلے گی۔
Positive Sentences:
Simple and affirmative sentences are also recognized as positive sentences. These sentences are very easy to create. We have to follow the structure given below to create these sentences.
Subject + verb(1st form )+ (will/shall) + Object
- Subject = who liable for every action
- Object = the one which is on receiving side
- Addition of will/shall will be done according to the sentences used.
| Alina will make breakfast daily. | علینہ روزانہ ناشتہ بناٰئے گی۔ |
| Zermeen will wear new dresses۔ | زرمین نئے کپڑے پہنے گی۔ |
| You will go to school daily | تم ہر روز سکول جاؤ گی۔ |
| I shall play football. | میں فٹ بال کھیلوں گا۔ |
| Humdan will help others. | حمدان دوسروں کی مدد کرے گا۔ |
| Shahmeer will tease his mother | شاہمیر اپنی امی کو تنگ کرے گا ۔ |
| We shall purchas goat. | ہم بکری خریدیں گے ۔ |
| She will drink milk. | وہ دودھ پیے گی۔ |
| Sbeen will watch cartoon. | سبین کارٹون دیکھے گی۔ |
| Zoha will dance. | زوہا ڈانس کرے گی ۔ |
| We will wear glasses. | ہم عینک پہنیں گے۔ |
| The boys will play in the garden. | لڑکےباغ میں کھیلیں گے۔ |
| We shall play match. | ہم میچ کھیلیں گے ۔ |
Negative Sentences:
Negative sentences are just a positive sentences with only one difference and that difference is that we use not with will and shall in these sentences. We use Will and Shall with respect of the subject used. Here is the simple Structure of negative sentences.
Subject + Shall/Will + not + 1st form of verb + object.
| · People will not sight moon of Eid. | لوگ عید کا چاند نہیں دیکھیں گے۔ |

| The women will not apply henna | عورتیں مہندی نہیں لگائیںگی۔ |
| The Pakistanis will not decorate their country. | پاکستانی اپنے ملک کو نہیں سجاٰئیں گے ۔ |
| We shall go not for the visit of zoo. | بچے چڑیا گھر کی سیر کو نہیں جائیںگے ۔ |
| The schools will not open. | سکول نہیں کھلیں گے۔ |
| Aleeza will not drink feeder. | علیزے فیڈر نہیں پیے گی۔ |
| They will not play hockey. | لڑکے ہاکی نہیں کھیلیں گے۔ |
| I shall not open the shop. | میں دوکان نہیں کھولوں گا۔ |
| They will not enjoy on Eid. | لوگ عید کی خوشیاں نہیں منا ئیں گے۔ |
| Sibgha will not feel happy. | صبغہ خوش نہیں ہوگی۔ |
| We shall not go to bazar. | لوگ بازار نہیں جائیں گے۔ |
| Sheryar will not go to school. | شہریار سکول نہیں جائے گا۔ |
| Nermeen will not wear new dress. | نرمین نئے کپڑےنہیں پہنے گی۔ |
| Aalyaan will not go to Lahore. | عالیان لاہور نہیں جائے گا ۔ |
| You will not fly kite. | تم پتنگ نہیں اڑاؤ گے۔ |
| We shall not visit the zoo. | ہم چڑیا گھر کی سیر کو نہیں جائیں گے۔ |
Interrogative Sentences:
When a question is asked in any sentence, we call is interrogative sentence. In interrogative sentences, helping verbs will/shall are used at the start of sentence. Here is the easy Structure of these sentences.
Shall/will + subject + 1st form of verb + object?
| Do you go to school? | کیا تم سکول جاتے ہو؟ |
| Will Irha sing a song? | کیا ارحا گانا گائے گی ؟ |
| Shall we go to market? | کیاہم بازار جائیں گے ؟ |
| Will they sing a song? | کیا وہ گیت گائیں گی؟ |
| Will the boys play hockey? | کیا لڑکے ہاکی کھیلیں گے ؟ |
| Will Zohab play cricket? | کیا زوہاب کرکٹ کھیلے گا؟ |
| Will Noreen make breakfast? | کیا نورین ناشتہ بنائے گی ؟ |
| Will Mneeha wear new dresses? | کیا منیہا نئے کپڑے پہنے گی ؟ |

| Will mother knit new sweater? | کیا ماں نیا سویٹر بنے گی ؟ |
| Will they protest against the dearness of all edible things in the country? | کیا وہ ملک میں میں موجود ہر چیز کی مہنگائی کے خلاف احتجاج کریں گے؟ |
| Will the police try to search out the thief? | کیا پولیس چور کی کھوج لگانے میں کامیاب ہوجائے گی؟ |
| Will Ayat lose her stamina while talking? | کیا آیت بات کرتے وقت اپنا سٹیمنا کھوئے گی؟ |
| Will Anaya like her brother? | کیاعنایہ اپنے بھائی کو پسند کرے گی؟ |
Interrogative + Negative Sentences:
There is question and negation at the same time in a sentence. Here is the Structure of those sentences.
Shall/will+ Subject + not+ verb(1st form) + Object +(?)
| Will Shahzain not teach the girls in University? | کیاشاہزین یونیورسٹی میں لڑکیوں کو نہیں پڑھا ئے گا؟ |
| Will Maheen not stitch new dresses for her sister? | کیاماہین اپنی بہن کے لیے کپڑے سلائی نہیں کرے گی ؟ |
| Shall we not go to the zoo to see elephant? | کیاہم ہاتھی دیکھنے چڑیا گھر نہیں جائیں گے؟ |
| Will Armaan not play football every evening? | کیا ارمان ہر شام فٹبال نہیں کھیلے گا؟ |
| Will they not visit the market every month? | کیا وہ ہر مہینے بازار نہیں جائیں گے؟ |
| Will Arhem not climb over the mountain? | کیا ارحم پہاڑ پر نہیں چڑھے گا ؟ |
| Shall I not observe fast? | کیا میں روزہ نہیں رکھوں گی ؟ |
| Will the people not protest against the dearness? | کیا لوگ مہنگائی کے خلاف احتجاج نہیں کریں گے ؟ |
